We were in Australia 2 yrs ago on the US version of father's day and totally forgot about it until late in the eveing. I ended up rushing out and buying my husband a potholder with a kangaroo on it just before the nearest shop closed. Happy Father's Day!! Oh, a potholder, just what I always wanted (rolling eyes). We laugh about that to this day. :)

I used to be so confused when we lived in the UK. Mothering Sunday was a different date than Mother's day. My brain is small.
