Noddie has calmed down a bit (thank you, God).
Unexpectedly, I'm not desperately itching to exercise, although I am looking forward to riding my bike on Thursday. The answer to the question of what would fill all that extra time when I'm not sweating up a storm has turned out to be SLEEP. The Spousal Unit and I are the king and queen of somnolence, the sovereigns of slumber, the rajahs of zeds.....
The cd is stacked with carols; the spare room bed is piled with boxes; all that's left is to wrap them up and organise supper for 15 on Christmas Day. It's all good. I love Christmas! (even though my inlaws are coming aaarrrggghhhh. I CAN and WILL cope - times like these are why the good Lord gave us sparkling shiraz).

Small Triumph: I was just at a work farewell morning tea where there was yummy cheesecake. I took one bite and thought, this is not worth missing out on a mince pie later - and I stopped.
What small triumphs have you had lately?

NONE,
I am too weak.
I recovered really fast from my nine mile adventure Sunday. I'm liking that! I got 90% of my Christmas shopping done last night. I could've waited a little longer to get started ;-)
Wes
Oh, and last night, when I got home. There was a whole pizza waiting for me, and I ate one piece, only 1000 calories per slice! LOL.
I resisted the donut holes and christmas cookies my co-worker was trying to tempt me with! Yea for small victories! Oh, and I made 4 dozen christmas cookies last night (to give as gifts) and did not eat a SINGLE ONE!!! Yahoo!
you did well - lol at Simlin.
Does not being able to eat due to possible sinus/chest infection count?
Pizza has 1000 calories a slice?? Is that what I am doing wrong?
You are a ROCK!
what's the date? 20th you say? christmas in five days?
craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppppppppppppppp
None, I'm afraid. I went and bought a big butter-flavored bunch of stuff to pour all over my oil-popped popcorn nearly every day this week. Yikes.
Hi, re the tri, Rob's a 50/50 starter but if he does, we'll probably swim at St Kilda, otherwise it's likely just the Mill Park YMCA.
Transition will be the back of my seatless family van, which should be able to fit 3 bikes...maybe 4 at a squeeze.
Current planning expects me to run it on the 31st rather than the 1st as it's likely we'll have friends over New Years. If you're keen to join me/us, let me know and I'll get to work defining better plans.
The photo looks so nice and relaxed. I ate the feet of Freddo frog while my little man ate the whole head and tummy....and arms...and eyelids...and fingers...and every thing! But I was good and gave it to him and knew he will scream if I try and take it back so I knew I couldn't. LOL
